The Living Sober ethos is one of tolerance and kindness. No judgement, just understanding and support.

After a year of work behind the scenes, Living Sober is relaunching with a fresh new look and user experience improvements. But the same community space members find so kind and supportive has been carefully retained.

In it's fifth year, Living Sober has grown to the point that a thriving base of over 3000 people return to the site on a weekly basis. Many Kiwis visit Living Sober everyday to talk honestly about their drinking habits.

The new site takes Living Sober forward so it can provide more tips, understanding, and inspiring support for countless more people in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Improvements include a new logo, updated colour palete, easier to see notifications, and an enhanced user experience in many subtle but noticeable ways. Existing members will be delighted that the rebuilt site resolves a number of annoying bugs in the old platform.

The new site is scheduled to go live on Friday 23 November after a three day period of downtime while the new platform is brought online.

Living Sober's online community is Managed by Lotta Dann, aka Mrs D, who also produces much of the sites original content. The site is operated by the New Zealand Drug Foundation thanks to funding from the Health Promotion Agency.
